Golf continues to evolve every year, adding better equipment, more information / technology in the coaching space, and greater access to the game, but has the golf instruction continued to evolve?  Golf instructors continue to charge more, giving hour lessons or packages, playing lessons, etc. but the "expertise" is no longer just with information.  With the many outlets of information players have access to, players have become autonomous in gathering and attempting to apply the information whether it is applicable or not.  The real problem is that the players are not being held accountable and guided in development.  They may a have better understanding of the golf swing, or even better technique, but how will all that be harnessed into better play?  Golf is coached differently than almost every other sport, and that is the problem.  So much emphasis on "how to" versus "what you do".  The goal of Evolution Golf Initiative is to change that narrative.  Evolution Golf Initiative will give players a greater understanding of "what you do" and "how you can" versus what you are not.  It is more about function and less about aesthetic or the consensus.
